SHARED SCORES
Private scores stay private. A PDF appears publicly only when a signed-in organizer or collaborator deliberately contributes it.
Upload only a transcription or arrangement you created, a specific edition in the public domain, material released under an open license, or material you have permission to share. A traditional melody may be old while a modern engraving or arrangement is still protected.
Every public score records its uploader, upload time, file fingerprint, attribution, source, and the uploader’s selected rights basis. Uploads and important changes appear in the jam’s audit history.
Do not download or redistribute a score when you believe it was posted without permission. Until a dedicated copyright-agent address is published, use the jam’s public contact method and identify the tune, PDF, claimed work, and your contact information. Organizers can immediately disable the public resource while the concern is reviewed.
Adding a shared tune to your tunebook saves an independent metadata entry and learning status. It does not copy the public PDF. Removing a tune from a jam never deletes anybody’s private entry.
